The two institutions initialed the partnership agreement which binds them for two years, on June 20, 2023 at the headquarters of the Platform of Local Flour Promoters in Cameroon (PROFALCAM) in Yaoundé. The Platform of Local Flour Promoters in Cameroon (PROFALCAM) has a new partner. This is the firm ELESYST Sarl. The terms of their engagement were initialed on June 20 during a ceremony which brought together representatives of both parties: George Mbanda, President of PROFALCAM and Eric Eloundou Ngah, Managing Director of Cabinet ELESYST Sarl. From May 30 to Saturday June 03, the esplanade of Yaoundé's Hôtel de Ville hosted the first edition of the of the Central Regional Exhibition of the Small and Medium Size Enterprises. The Plateforme des Promoteurs des Farines Locales au Cameroun (PROFALCAM) was to take part in the SAREP Centre 2023 edition. This regional SME trade show focused on "Vulgarizing SME in the Centre: spotlight on local flours". The event was organized by the MINPMEESA Centre regional delegation, and was attended by around a hundred participants.PROFALCAM took part not only as a participant, but also as a resource person for the local flour sector. Public-Private Dialogue: PROFALCAM takes part in the proceedings

  On March 30, 2023, the platform took part in the restricted consultation held in Douala between MINEPAT and private sector players. The Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development (MINEPAT) had initiated a consultation with certain major players in the national economy. These were mainly business leaders from the local flour, timber, milk, palm oil and steel sectors. The meeting took place on March 30, 2023, at Krystal Palace Hotel in Douala. PROFALCAM, as the platform of Cameroon's local flour promoters, took part in the meeting. During a presentation by its President, Njile George Mbanda, the group took stock of the current state of local flours.
