It is true that she is best known for her commitment to her fight for the promotion of women in the cocoa sector in Cameroon. But in reality, Agnès Maledy Ngocky works for the desire for economic empowerment of rural women in general. To achieve its goal, it is or has been in charge of many agricultural projects. As an example, we will cite the “Rural Women in Cocoa Program” for women in the locality of Ihound, in the Sanaga Maritime Littoral region.
In addition to cocoa, Agnès Maledy has also invested in the cultivation of tubers. She is also a confirmed processor of tuber roots into various products. This is the case with cassava, which she transforms into bread flour, couscous flour, etc. And in favor of women, her hobbyhorse, she organizes training and supervises them in various aspects.
Moreover, always with the aim of lifting them out of poverty, the treasurer of PROFALCAM set up the Cooperative Society of Rural Women of the Littoral. It is through this entity that she manages to bring a smile back to rural women in the Littoral.
