From May 30 to Saturday June 03, the esplanade of Yaoundé's Hôtel de Ville hosted the first edition of the of the Central Regional Exhibition of the Small and Medium Size Enterprises. The Plateforme des Promoteurs des Farines Locales au Cameroun (PROFALCAM) was to take part in the SAREP Centre 2023 edition. This regional SME trade show focused on "Vulgarizing SME in the Centre: spotlight on local flours". The event was organized by the MINPMEESA Centre regional delegation, and was attended by around a hundred participants.PROFALCAM took part not only as a participant, but also as a resource person for the local flour sector. Agriculture: Cameroon joins the Board of Directors of ASARECA

Cameroon will now sit on the Board of Directors of the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and in Eastern and Southern Africa (ASARECA). This admission was made through through the Institut de recherche agricole pour le développement (IRAD), heade by Dr Noé Woin. It was during the Ministerial Conference on Agriculture organized by the Association from May 17 to 19, 2023, at the Speke Resort in the Ugandan capital Kampala. The theme which underpinned the conference's work is: "Building resilient food systems to feed Africa for generations". IRAD's rise to this position is a real boon for Cameroon's youth. On April 06th 2023, the President of PROFALCAM installed the 10 members of the Platform's North-West regional office. In accordance with the texts of the Platform of Promoter of Local Flour in Cameroon (PROFALCAM), the Chairman of the Board proceeded on Thursday 06th April with the installation of the bureau Executive Committee members of the North-West region. The two parties met on 05th April 2023 in Bamenda in the North West region to sign a partnership agreement. Wednesday 05th April 2023 marked the beginning of relations between Njindom Cooperative Credit Union Limited (NJICCUL) and the Platform of Promoters of Local Flour in Cameroon (PROFALCAM). The two institutions have signed a partnership agreement sealing their union. The meeting, which took place at the NJICCUL microfinance headquarters in Bamenda, was attended by a strong delegation from both sides. They were led by George N. The partnership agreement uniting them was signed on February 24th, 2023 by their respective Chairmen. People Finance S.A is now a key financial partner of PROFALCAM. It was 3.30p.m when George MBANDA and Aggée DINAMOU each signed the partnership agreement between the two institutions, of which they presidents. That's how much space MINEPAT allocated to presenting the Platform of Promoters of Local Flour in Cameroon (PROFALCAM) and its activities. In these three articles, MINEPAT (Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development) news magazine demonstrated the importance of this innovative association in Cameroon.
